Counting to FOUR!!

One, two, three, four
Monsters walking ‘cross the floor
I love counting
Counting to the number four

Oh you’re counting
Counting with me
To one less than five
And one more than three

Oh, we’re counting to four
Oh, let’s count some more

One, two, three, four
Penguins that went by the door
I love counting
Counting to the number four

I see four here
I see four there
My favorite number
Nothing can compare

Oh, we’re counting to four
Oh, let’s count some more

One, two, three, four
Chickens just back from the shore
I love counting
Counting to the number four

Oh, we’re counting to four
Oh, let’s count some more

One, two, three, four
Chickens just back from the shore
One, two, three, four
Penguins that went by the door

One, two, three, four
Monsters walking ‘cross the floor

Counting to four
Counting to four
Counting to four
Counting to four

Let's count to the number 5!

Benvinguts! Començem de nou! Per Octubre nem a comptar fins al número cinc!!

Bienvenido!  Empezamos de nuevo! Para Octubre vamos a contar hasta el número cinco!

Welcome!  Here we go again! Let's count to five in October!

One day on Sesame Street
We wanted something to eat
Something that was healthy and sweet
A yummy juicy treat
We went to Hooper’s Store
Two peaches maybe more
How many we weren’t sure at all

But then the Count said
I know how to get us fed
No need to cause a fuss
We will count each one of us

Oh, he was counting
Finding the amount then
We found we were 5 guys
1 2 3 4 5
It was exciting
The thunder and the lightening
Way up high in the sky
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
They were a real reach
We needed one each
If we grabbed a peach
This is what the Count had teached
We were counting
Finding the amount then
We counted up to five
1 2 3 4 5
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

On the way down Sesame Street
We started feeling beat
We needed to rest our feet
We wanted to take a seat
We looked for a chair or 2
How many no one knew
Didn’t know just what to do at all

But then the Count spoke
I know what to do no joke
No need to cause a fuss
We will count each one of us

We were counting
Finding the amount then
Found out we were 5 guys
1 2 3 4 5
Filled us with wonder
Lightening and the thunder
Booming out across the sky
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
And we knew right then
Each one of us could take a chair
The count had helped make us aware
He taught us how of this I swear
We were counting
Finding the amount then
We counted up to five
1 2 3 4 5
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

1 2 3 4 5

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
1 2 3 4 5
Ha Ha Ha Ha

Count: That’s one great number
Train: Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

PLAY+TIME

Childhood is such a precious but brief moment in one's lifetime
and it is for that reason that
as well as singing, dancing, and listening exercises
I always love to incorporate free time to play in my classes.
Having an extra curricular activity during lunch time poses its own challenges
yet I have found that respecting childrens need  for self expression
is a productive activity in and of itself.
=)
